Post-Thanksgiving Impromptu Event -

Sierra Nevada Minis — Post-Thanksgiving Run — Saturday, November 29, 2025: Join us for our annual tradition of stretching out our legs and Minis after Thanksgiving! We’ll meet at 9 AM at the Savemart on North Carson St. in Carson City. This year’s route takes us from Carson City to Dayton, using the Ft. Churchill Road cutoff to Ft. Churchill, then Alt95 to Yerington. We’ll stop at Ft. Churchill for about 30-45 minutes, with a 5.00admissionpercaranda5.00 admission per car and a $5.00 admission per car and a $1.00 museum fee; we’ll try to arrange a tour with one of the Rangers! Afterward, we’ll head south from Yerington via NV208 through Smith Valley and Wilson Canyon to Wellington, arriving at the Hey Day Inn for lunch around 11:30 AM. The total drive time is about an hour and a half (77 miles), including our stop at Ft. Churchill. After lunch, we’ll return via NV208 to Hwy 395 back to Carson City and Reno, which takes about another hour. Check out the Hey Day Inn Facebook page and Ft.
