Fallon Grimes Point Archaeological Site w/ Lunch at Middlegate Station

Join us on Saturday, March 21st, for a trip to Fallon, including a visit to the Churchill County Museum and the Grimes Point Archaeological site. The museum opens at 10 AM, with a suggested donation of $5 per person. We’ll spend 30-45 minutes there to explore local history and take a bathroom break.

Afterward, we’ll head to Grimes Point to see the 8,000-year-old petroglyphs along a 1/4-mile hiking path, enjoying stunning views of Fallon and the ancient Lake Lahontan site. Following our walk, we’ll drive out US 50 to Middlegate Station for lunch, known for having the best burgers around!

We’ll meet at the Alamo Casino and Truck Stop (1950 E. Greg St. in Sparks) at 9:00 AM and depart at 9:15 AM to arrive at the museum by opening time.
