It's that time of year when our 2022 Event Calendar comes to a close. We have traditonally wrapped up the year with a holiday party to share the cheer. This year Doris and Rod Dimmitt will be back as the hosts of our holiday party, scheduled for Saturday, December 3, 2022, at their home in Carson City. With the weather getting colder, Doris and Rod were thinking that they would do a Potluck Soup Party. Rod plans on making a Basque Soup in his Dutch oven. If we could get maybe 3 or 4 others to bring a favorite soup, stew or chili, others could bring some appetizers, breads, salads, or desserts. The party will start at 5:00 PM and last as long as you want to stay. Doris and Rod will have an ice chest with water and sodas. If you would like to bring your own beverage, of any kind, you are free to do so.

It is always nice to talk with other members, relive past events, and even talk about future events. This has been a tradition since 2008 or 2009, so lets's keep it alive. If you would like to join us, please RSVP by November 30th, to let Rod know what you would like to bring.

We have traditionally collected items for Toys for Tots and clothing items for the Reno Rodeo Association, and submitted them on behalf of the Sierra Nevada Minis, if you would like to bring something to the party. We hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday season! Cheers to you all!
