FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Nevada Day Board of Directors announces the theme for the 2022 Nevada Day Parade. The Board feels communities across the state need a reason to celebrate so the parade theme this year will be "Carnivál On The Comstock."

“Carnivál represents colorful floats, upbeat music, it’s a reason to dress up and have fun!” stated the President of the Nevada Day Board of Directors, Bobby Bean. “Wear capes, wear costumes, anything goes at Carnivál…just remember, it’s a family event.”

October 18, 2022 Update:

Information about the parade is being forwarded to the six folks who will be included in our entry this year. Prior to meeting at SaveMart at 7:30 AM, we will be having a buffet breakfast at Red’s 395 Grill hosted by the Nevada Builders Foundation. Tickets are $6 in advance and $10 at the door. They will have pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and more. We will meet at Red's at 6:30 AM before we stage for the parade. If you do not want to join us for breakfast, we will meet up with you at the SaveMart parking lot at about 7:45 AM. Staging is scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM, but things get crowded quickly so we don’t want to dally.
