Planet X Pottery Winter Show
November 27, 2021 — We have had an idea for a fun Mini cruise to Gerlach on Saturday November 27th. A visit to Planet X Pottery, which is about 8 miles north of Gerlach. We plan to visit the Planet X Winter Show. Gerlach is just over 100 miles from Sparks.
- Meet at SaveMart on North Carson Street at 8:45 AM.
- Leave SaveMart at 9:00 AM.
- Travel north on 580 to Mt. Rose, east crossing Virginia St. to the traffic roundabout, then north on Veterans Parkway to E. Greg Street, right to the Alamo Truck Stop (Petro Travel Center).
- Meet up with the Reno/Sparks folks in the Alamo parking lot, west side by the fire station.
- Leave the Alamo at 9:45 - 9:50 AM, left on E. Greg Street, then right on I80 to Wadsworth, left on NV 447 to Bruno's Country Club for lunch, arriving about 11:30 AM.
- We can drive directly to Gerlach, or we can stop for a rest break at the Nixon store.
- After lunch, north on 447 to Planet X, about 8 miles.
- After looking at pottery and paintings (and some of us buying some) folks could head for home.
